How SaazTab collects, uses, and protects your information.
Last updated Jun 21, 2026
Information we collect
- Account data: your name, email, and (for email/password sign-up) a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile and email.
- Content you submit: songs, chords, tags, and related metadata.
- Usage data: basic, non-identifying information such as song view counts and locally-stored “recently viewed” history (kept on your device, not our servers).
How we use it
- To operate the service: authenticate you and publish your songs.
- To review submissions and moderate content.
- To improve the service and keep it secure.
We do not sell your personal information. We never store passwords in plain text.
Cookies & local storage
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and your browser’s local storage for preferences (like theme) and your recently-viewed list. You can clear this anytime from Settings → Offline storage.
Third parties
We rely on infrastructure providers (hosting, database, and Google for optional sign-in). These providers process data only to deliver their services.
Your choices
- Access, update, or delete your account by contacting us.
- Clear locally-stored data from Settings at any time.
